Session 1: STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO CREATE A STRATEGIC PLAN?

A Month? An 80-page document? A team of experts?

Not at all…

You don't have to move full time into the land of anxiety to create a successful strategic plan. In fact, it can be a fun and exciting experience and you really can create a successful plan for your business in just one day. Some of the most creative thinkers and business strategists adhere to the ‘get er done’ mentality, opting for clear, concise, dedicated time to creating their vision


Session 2: Business Guidelines?

Entrepreneurs tend to get dragged down and overwhelmed by things that accumulate over time - and end up cluttering your mind - and your business. You may have a tendency to gravitate towards the areas of business that you feel most comfortable in and push the more unsavoury tasks to the backburner. Evaluating and assessing areas that need your attention is critical to designing the business and career you want.


Session 3: YOUR STORY

DO YOU CONSIDER YOUR STORY TO BE WORTH TELLING?

Did you know your business has a story? There are always two stories.Two versions that circulate inside our minds. There is the story that is true and there is the story we want to be true.

As business owners, employees; as human beings, we have a tendency to put the brightest face on our situations. We want others to think we have it all together, that we are thriving. That we are succeeding. Many of us hide our true story, even from ourselves. We spend years convincing ourselves that the falsified version is the real version but it all starts with a story.

Learning the power of narrative and rediscovering your own story is critical to understand your decision-making process and will help shape the story of your business brand.


Session 4: PRIMARY NEEDS

HOW WELL DO YOU MEET YOUR PRIMARY NEEDS?

According to human needs psychology, every single human being, no matter his or her nationality, race, religion, gender, sexuality, culture, or socioeconomic status, shares six primary human needs. Human Needs Psychology teaches that all human motivation can be explained as the desire to meet one or more of our six primary human needs.

Understanding how you view and prioritize your needs is fundamental to a sense of purpose and fulfillment in your business and in your life.

Tony Robbins and Cloe Madanes developed a full Primary Needs Questionnaire. The Primary Needs Assessment is an 84 question, online needs assessment that helps identify how you prioritize what you need in your life and your business to better understand how they affect your decisions and goals.

Session 5: YOUR STRENGTHS

STRENGTHS; WE ALL HAVE THEM BUT DO WE ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE?

We often hear that our personal strengths are part of what makes us unique. They manifest as traits, inherent talents, learned knowledge, behaviours and even parts of our personality that we offer to the world in some shape or fashion. Many people know what their weaknesses are and that they are NOT good at but don’t know their strengths and even if they do know, they take them for granted and don’t believe that they are strengths.

Research has shown that people who focus on their strengths are 6 times more likely to be engaged in their jobs and 3 times more likely to believe that they have a better quality of life. Determining and understanding your strengths can be invaluable and can allow you to show up fully and to focus on the right things in your business and help you become the person you want to be.


Session 6: EQ VS IQ

HARD SKILLS:

Tactical strategies that are taught to individuals who want to have careers in financial and investment accounting because it takes a thick skin to handle the ups and downs of a demanding profession.

SOFT SKILLS:

Communication, conflict management, human relations, making presentations, negotiating, team building, and other such abilities, defined in terms of expected outcomes and not as a specific method or technique such as statistical analysis.

What is your style and how does it affect all areas of your business and life. In this session, we explore the differences of Emotional Intelligence vs Traditional, Cognitive Intelligence.


Session 7: Mission, Vision, Values

SO WHAT DOES YOUR BUSINESS REALLY NEED FROM YOU?

With your priorities clearly identified, you will build a 12-month action plan designed to help you achieve the success you’re looking for. You will also use our template to help you break down your success plan into a 90-day action plan to help you focus on the most important priorities in the first 90 days.


Session 8: BRAND IDENTITY

Building a strong Brand Identity is critical to establishing a core foundation for your business. A brand is a company’s reputation, personality, and lifestyle - the conveyance of attributes, values, purpose, strengths, and passions. It’s the gut feeling your customer gets from doing business with you.

Everything a company does affects their brand – their colors, logos, customer experience, appearance. Everything affects how a customer feels about your company, and thus, your brand.

A brand identity is what you determine you want your company to be known for. It’s the personality, the heartbeat, of your company.


Session 9: PUBLIC SPEAKING

IS IT NECESSARY? DOES IT REALLY MATTER?

Speaking can be a fantastic way to connect with your audience, build trust and allow them to get to know the real you. Your business needs you to step up and communicate in your unique, authentic voice. This session is all about finding your message and learning to understand and alter your definition of fear and develop your unique business selling points into a strong message that can be delivered in a variety of ways.


Session 10: NETWORKING Strategies

As an entrepreneur, networking is essential to your personal growth and business development. Understanding your customer demographic and where to find them is a key component to understanding their needs. Business is all about networking, building relationships and taking action. Building a successful business takes a lot of time and drive, so it’s good to have a network of friends and associates to draw energy from and keep you going. By surrounding yourself with people who share a similar drive and ambition, you are more likely to move forward as a group.

That being said: Networking can be very draining so it’s important to understand how to be efficient and network effectively.


Session 11: Integrity Based Sales

No one likes selling. It’s hard, it can feel inauthentic and skeezy and it is the number one reason businesses flounder. Let’s do this right. There are strategies and tools that will allow you to ‘sell’ without ever feeling like you are lining up your friends and family for the ‘pitch’.


Session 12: DIGITAL MEDIA Strategies

In this session, we will review and finalize your brand message and implement it across all Digital and Social Media Platforms. We will lay out a social media strategy that has an intentional framework and schedule that is meant to engage and draw your target audience as well as review and set up the most useful platforms and make sure they are being utilized to their fullest capabilities.

In this checklist, Raelene goes through everything that you need to make sure your media is working properly, has compelling, consistent messaging and leaves you with a full Digital plan.


CONCLUSION

We make thousands of little decisions every moment of every day and in each moment we have to decide what is right for us. It has become increasingly harder to be disciplined in a society that prizes instant gratification. We tend to be more concerned about feeling good all the time, so we seek immediate pleasure, whether it’s a new car, a fantastic vacation, or even a new partner. Our long-term goals are not deemed to be so important anymore and yet they help us to succeed.

Effective analysis, course correction and navigating your future is a skill that we learn. There will always be unexpected circumstances that need to be addressed. Laying a strong foundation now, or adding a program to your business plan that’s designed to help you strengthen as you go is a concrete way to plan for success and make sure you and your business resonate for the long term.
